Renault
Engaged in tertiary safety with rescuers for 10 years.
In Europe in 2019, the number of road fatalities reached 23,000. A figure that can be explained by number of reasons: excessive or inappropriate speed (30%), driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol (25%), or lack of concentration (20%).
To make driving safer, we rely on a two-pronged approach: prevention and rescueAs both a pioneer in the world of electric cars and the Europe’s EV market leader, Groupe Renault is committed to safety. According to Claire Petit-Boulanger, the Group’s Emergency Response Safety Expert, Renault’s electric vehicle safety programme is unique. Her newest and most valuable recruit is Lieutenant Colonel Christophe Lenglos from the Yvelines Fire and Emergency Services. He has recently been seconded to Groupe Renault’s CSR Department.
